Permaculture means the construction of surrounding environment with appreciation towards the nature.

Permaculture is a whole planning philosophy, which includes the garden, architecture, ecology and even financial management and community planning. In farming, the aim is to create such methods that do not eracate the ground in several tens of years.

We take care of a teaching plantation at Makongeni Primary school. We use the plantation as an example of permaculture to the students. Due to poverty and poor reachability of food in the region, people face malnutrition and hunger in the region. We aim to encourage and teach children about permaculture already from a young age. We believe that by growing with the sustainable farming practices, the children learn to appreciate the nature and use the ground efficiently for farming.

We grow vegetables for the children and families. We also grow fast-growing tree seeds, which we plant into the village.
